Leaving New Delhi

Since I have basically been in Delhi for 2 days and not taken any pictures I figured that I could document the trip to the airport. I have no idea what this building is, but it it what I saw.

This is traffic in India. Here is it not too bad, but all of the stop and go with the horn honking is an experience that I cannot explain.

You cannot see it very well in this photo, but there is a lady in the back of this truck sleeping. A nice relaxing morning in Delhi.
Some shanty houses or maybe lower middle class housing. Metal not paper or wood.
We flew Kingfisher airline to Bangalore. It was a pretty nice airline. I had a seat right next to Dave Harmon my PCC "handler" on this trip. I think that we spoke 10 words on the whole flight. I think that he feels like I am a moron. Oh well.

The flight was nice. I was reading about Kingfishers in National Geographic magazine while flying on the airline
We arrived into Bangalore and were bussed right to a meeting at HAL for a few hours. I was so tired I dozed off during one of the presentations. I am making a great impression here. There was a reception last night at the hotel. It was actually not terrible. I got to meet several companies that I didn't know existed. It was worth it.
It rained here yesterday so it was not as hot, but still muggy and smelly. Bangalore is such a big city.

The Indian food That we are eating tastes pretty good, but it is not really agreeing with my stomach. Oh well. I would give anything right now for some steamed white rice. And maybe some manju.
Here is a photo of my room. It is very stiff and simple. Smells like smoking and India. I wish that I had brought some air freshener.
I tried to take a video of the ride to the airport to you could hear the sounds. I am not sure if it will give you the feel or not. I will try to do better in the next few days.
